Here's what we were working with - a 575 sq ft garage slab with cracks, surface imperfections, and the kind of bare concrete that just collects stains and never really looks clean. Not a lost cause. Just a floor that needed proper prep before anything else happened.
That prep is everything. We diamond ground the entire surface to open up the concrete and give the coating something to bond to. Then we repaired the cracks and surface defects and applied an MVB moisture barrier primer. That primer step is one most installers skip - and it's exactly why coatings fail. Moisture pushing up from below is one of the top reasons floor coatings peel, and we eliminate that risk before we ever broadcast a flake.
From there, we installed a full-broadcast Gracious flake system. Full-broadcast means the flakes cover every inch of the floor - no thin or patchy spots, just a consistent, clean finish from wall to wall. We also coated the foundation and stem walls to tie everything together. Finished with a UV-stable polyaspartic top coat that won't yellow or dull out over time.
The whole system is backed by our lifetime adhesion warranty. That's not a limited warranty or a prorated warranty - it's a lifetime adhesion warranty. We stand behind the prep work, the materials, and the install because we know the process holds up.
Harrisburg homeowners deal with the same thing - garages that look rough, floors that stain and chip, and coatings that were installed over unprepped concrete. This is how you do it the right way.
